Fantasy has always been a broad subject. The mystical world of fantasy ranges from mythical creatures that blow away the mind, to faraway places, some thriving civilizations, some struggling through war and desolation, to the unexplained or the unexplainable fields of magic. In short, fantasy with its many branches, its wide variety to choose from, and its complicated subjects can be quite difficult to write. Thus, the potential fantasy author may ask: “How exactly do I start?” This site is designed to help those who are interested in starting their own fantasy novels, as well as help those who are currently writing. There are currently three main areas: Legendary Creatures, Weapons/Magic, and Society. In the “Legendary Creatures” section, you can learn all about all kinds of legendary creatures from A-Z split between the categories of fire, water, ground, and air. So if you’re vexed about vampires, or befuddled about banshees, this is the place for you. In the “Weapons/Magic” section, you can learn all about different kinds of weapons and magic. In the weapons area, you can learn about a variety of different weapons, how they were/are used, etc. The magic area is split into the four categories of elemental magic, light magic, dark magic, and miscellaneous magic. Thus, if you’ve taken on a quest to slay a mighty beast by the sword or by magic, this is the path you should follow. Finally, we come to the “Society” section. Within the walls of this library of knowledge, you will learn all about society, its many types, and its complexities. So if you need to know what a bureaucracy is or the social standing of a soldier, then this court is now in session. If you need to know anything else, such as how to come up with names for people or places, or some tips on random things, then the “How to...” and “Random Tips” areas may be able to help you. If not, just ask a question in the “Q&A” section. So grab your gear and get ready to delve deep into the world of fantasy! The adventure begins!
